“These people have a heart for their business. Absolutely more than a 5 star rating. We stayed in room 24A which is in the annex building. The room is too small but the view from the small balcony is stunning, overlooking the south part of Lago Maggiore. It is impossible to sit straight on the toilet seat. The space is too small and also situated in a corner that is not square. The shower is also to small for a big fellow as I am. The food they serve a la carte is very good and cooked with very fresh ingredients out of their own garden. The breakfast is not in a buffet form. Also if you cannot digest white bread, it might cause a problem. The swimming pool is situated in another part of the town and can be accessed by walking some 10 minutes uphill or by car. I recommend this hotel to all of you who wants to have a holiday for a good price on one of the most beautiful places of Lago Maggiore”

“WOW, STUNNING! A true gem of a place, set high up above lake Maggiore, with simply the BEST views ! The service was outstanding and food delicious and plenty of it! The pool is magnificent and is a short, picture- postcard walk away from hotel, through century- old amazing buildings. It was a complete delight from arrival to departure.i cannot recommend the hotel enough!”

“First of all: We did a lot of hotels during our travels which were good. This hotel however topped most, if not all of them. Why.. ? 1: The staff: It is a family managed hotel, they really helped us during our stay and were very informative and really kind & sweet. 2: The location: The hotel is situated in a small village (fosseno)on the slopes of a hill. You get a really magnificent view of the lake down below. The vista from the terrace when eating your breakfast is really an experience to cherish. 3: The price / Quality: It is quite affordable for the options you get. If you take into consideration all you get here (staff / location / the pool / the nearby (fantastic) restaurant "Circolo Gatto Blu" / the overall classic charm..), you surely can't do wrong. Enjoy this.”

“Wir waren 4 Nächte in diesem Hotel und es hat uns gefallen. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Sofort haben sie bemerkt, dass ich Vegetarierin bin und für die nächsten Tage haben für mich eine leckere, vegetarische Alternative zum Essen gezaubert. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, dies hat uns aber nicht gestört. Alles war sauber und gepflegt. Unser Zimmer hat einen atemberaubenden Aussieht auf Lago Maggiore gehabt...”
